Evil Bin Helping to Raise Recycling Awareness

Published by Stephen Roper on Tagged Recycling

To try and raise awareness about recycling our mounting waste a new mobile phone game has been made called Evil Bin. Evil Bin is funded by the London Waste and Recycling Board.

This is the first time that mobile gaming technology has been used to raise awareness about recycling and has been released across mobile application networks with the exception of Blackberry.

Playing the game requires you to starve the Evil Bin by catching waste that can be recycled in your green bin.

Boris Johnson, Mayor of London had this to say about the new mobile game:

“I’m very excited about the new Recycle for London Campaign and how its using new technologies to help boost our recycling efforts, my message is to starve your rubbish bins and recycle, recycle, recycle!”

You can go green with mobile gaming by texting BIN to 62967 or picking the game up from your mobile network where available.
