Mobile Recycling Increasing By 25% Each Year

In 2010 its been estimated by experts that over 10 million mobile handsets will be recycled which is a huge increase of 25% from 2009.

In 2009 the amount of mobile phones that were recycled was 8 million which is more than double from the previous year.

A recent report by Ovum said that the UK has the most competitive phone recycling market with over 25% of all phones in Europe being sent for recycling by British people.

Due to the increased amount of mobile recyclers many people in the UK are now aware of the financial and environmental benefits of mobile recycling.
