O2 Recycle Give All Profits to Think Big Initiative

One of the biggest and fastest growing mobile and gadget recycling sites, O2 Recycle have recently announced that they will be donating all their profits to their Think Big Initiative.

Until recently O2 had been donating £1 for every mobile or gadget that was sent in to them but have now changed this to donate all their profit to the Think Big Scheme.

The Think Big initiative is a social action programme designed to counter the negative views of young people by supporting those that are making a difference. Through the scheme young people can apply for cash awards, mentoring and training to help support any initiatives they are running in their local areas. Since launching in March last year at least 35 youth charities have signed up as partners to the scheme.

O2 Recycle offers some of the most competitive prices for old mobiles, MP3 players, digital cameras and SAT NAVs. Since launching in October 2009 they have already paid out over £10 million to their customers. Both O2 and non O2 customers can sell their unwanted devices on the site.

By recycling unwanted mobiles and other electronic gadgets at O2 Recycle customers can be sure that their devices are being responsibly recycled whilst earning extra cash for themselves and helping young people.
