ShP Limited Recycles Yahoo’s Old Mobile Phones

ShP Limited owners of popular mobile recycling site, Mopay and partners with MirrorGoGreen have recently announced that they have secured a deal with search engine giant Yahoo to recycle the companies old mobile phones and IT equipment.

The Lancaster based firm will collect unwanted mobile phones and redundant IT equipment from Yahoo’s offices around the world including Finland, Dublin, Italy, France, Denmark, Belgium and from their HQ in London.

Co-founder of ShP Limited, Simon Walsh said “This is a very exciting time for ShP Limited and will see us consolidate as a global operation. Yahoo is one of the biggest search engines in the world with more than 500 million users. It’s fantastic to be working with such a respected, global business.”

Yahoo says that they take their environmental responsibilities very seriously and as such its very important that all their old mobiles and IT equipment is recycled correctly.

Working mobile phones that are collected from Yahoo will be refurbished and sent to developing countries, non-working handsets will be recycled and disposed if in line with the WEEE directive.

In other news ShP Limited and energy saving specialist Elstat have won regional awards to find the most innovative and forward thinking companies.
